New Book

On Saturday 15 August 2020 our latest book “Celebrating Gateshead” was published by Amberley Publishing. 

With a foreword by John Grundy this book takes a deeper look into the town’s past and present and focuses on important events that have taken place, as well as other lesser-known subjects.

Using eight themes the book explores achievements, firsts, art and artists, entertainers, song writers and musicians and a number of local heroes. It also looks at how the town has acknowledged its heritage through restoration and rejuvenation.
